Frontmatec Improves Warehouse Management and Operations
Frontmatec is a global organization that develops customized solutions primarily for the processing of meat products.
With operations on three continents, the company wanted to modernize one of its warehouses and production facilities. Its goals were to reduce picking errors, save space, and pick more goods per hour.
By acquiring four Modula vertical lift modules (VLMs) and integrating them with the company ERP system, they achieved all of those goals and enhanced overall warehouse management as well. What previously took 4,300 square feet of storage was reduced to just 517 square feet of floor space. It boosted its picking rates while reducing picking errors in the process.
